Jewish values and academic success are both important to our family, and we wanted a school where these are both offered in a balanced way. At Shaloh House, our family found a warm Jewish community where Judaism is woven into daily routines, relationships, and learning, and secular subjects are rigorous and challenging. What we value most about Shaloh House is its blend of strong academics with a thoughtful, individualized approach. The math program, in particular, is exceptional — it focuses on true comprehension and problem solving rather than memorization. Both of our children feel challenged without feeling pressured, and they’ve grown noticeably more confident in their ability to tackle complex concepts.
We also appreciate the school’s warm, family like environment, where older students naturally look after the younger ones and everyone helps one another succeed. The teachers and administrators are caring, attentive, and genuinely committed to supporting each child’s growth at their own pace.
